Chizay Wines has yet again received high praise for outstanding quality at the 2011 international competition,
“Gold Gryphon” in
Yalta.
The international competition
“Gold Gryphon” of
wine, brandy, champagne, fruit wine, vodkas and spirits was held between July 27th and August 3rd at the
National Institute of Grapes and Wine “Magarach”. The festival was organized by the National Institute of Vine and Wine “Magarach”, the Union of Crimean Wine Producers a
s well as an international federation representing Unions of growers and winemakers of CIS countries. Some of the most well noted winemakers in
Europe and
Asia gathered in one of the oldest research institutions in
Ukraine to sample over 200 products from countries including
France, Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Armenia, Turkmenistan, Georgia and Uzbekistan.

“Sauvignon”
White Semi-Sweet,
“Muscat”
White Dessert
“Golden Daffodil”
International judges consisting of leading representatives from the wine industry praised
Chizay wines for their high quality and awarded
JV “Aisberg” Ltd. with
Silver Medals for
all three assortments submitted.
It is one of the highest honors to be awarded a
winner at the
“Gold Gryphon" of
Yalta as it is considered one of the most prestigious and impartial international competitions.
